Festuca arundinacea Schreb. Tall fescue · Agricultural · bred by PURE SEED TESTING

also searched as: силверадо

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the turf type and was developed to improve the aesthetic characteristics of tall fescue compared to forage varieties. Due to its slowed growth, the variety requires less frequent mowing.

The plant demonstrates adaptation to transition zone conditions and possesses tolerance to the effects of heavy metals, specifically lead. There is also an improved version of the variety called Silverado II, which is distinguished by its resistance to leaf rust and turf quality.
