The variety is hexaploid (2n=6x=42) and is characterized by high sward density with a very fine leaf texture for this species. The variety belongs to early or mid-early maturity groups and has a medium-to-low growth type.
The plant is resistant to a complex of diseases, including brown and gray leaf spot. Slow shoot growth allows for a reduction in mowing frequency. The recommended mowing height is from 37 to 75 mm, however, the variety is capable of tolerating mowing down to 13 mm.
The variety is intended for the creation of high-quality lawns in parks and residential areas, as well as for sports facilities, including roughs on golf courses. It is well-suited for grass mixtures with Kentucky bluegrass and red fescue, and is also used in the production of sod.
