The variety is intended for the creation of ornamental and functional lawns, including in shaded areas and on roadsides. It is distinguished by a high density of stomata on the adaxial leaf surface with their absence on the abaxial surface.

The plant belongs to early varieties with a slow growth rate. It has the ability to maintain good cover during the autumn period and demonstrates resistance to summer patch, surpassing some other fescue varieties in this indicator.

The variety is adapted to adverse conditions, however, it is sensitive to the effects of certain types of herbicides. In professional circles, the variety is classified as hard fescue, despite erroneous mentions in some sources as sheep fescue.
