The variety was created by hybridization based on the varieties «Dotnuva I», «Kijevskaja-2» and wild populations. The plant is a loose-bunch form, with an average height of about 74 cm. The vegetation period lasts an average of 157 days.
The plants are characterized by good winter hardiness and the ability to regrow intensively after mowing or grazing. The proportion of leaves in the total mass ranges from 54.1% to 63.0%. The variety is resistant to lodging, as well as to infection with powdery mildew and rust.
The main purpose of the variety is use in grass mixtures for silage production, as well as in hayfields and pastures.
