The variety is characterized by low biomass, high germination energy at low temperatures, and a fast rooting rate. The plant requires less irrigation water and nitrogen fertilizer application, and also allows for less frequent mowing.
Barchip possesses resistance to drought, red thread, and Fusarium. Due to its characteristics, the variety is suitable for high-quality turf surfaces requiring minimal maintenance.
