The variety belongs to the Chewings fescue (Festuca rubra ssp. commutata) subspecies. Unlike creeping forms of red fescue, this variety is bunch-type and less prone to forming long underground shoots (rhizomes).

The variety forms a dense stand with a fine leaf texture. The main purpose is the creation of high-quality decorative lawn covers, including in seed mixtures, where dense and aesthetic turf is required.

It possesses good resistance to diseases, including the score for red thread (Red Thread).
