10 August 2026
The variety belongs to red fescue, specifically to the subspecies of creeping red fescue (Festuca rubra ssp. rubra). It is specialized for use in turf grass mixtures and is often used in the maintenance of golf courses, including fairways and tees.
The plant possesses an exceptional ability to survive in northern climate conditions. In studies, the variety demonstrates good indicators of turf density and color. In the absence of snow cover during the winter period, it may acquire a faded shade due to entering a state of dormancy.
The variety is included in evaluation programs for resistance to common turf grass diseases, such as snow mold (Microdochium).
