The variety forms an elegant, dense, and "velvety" sward, maintaining good color during the winter period and characterized by early regrowth in the spring. The plant exhibits resistance to a number of diseases, salt, drought, and cold, although it may require control of red thread.
This variety does not form underground shoots, which contributes to the creation of dense turf in special mixtures. It is used on golf courses, sports fields, and for the creation of elite ornamental lawns.
