The Greenmile variety is characterized by high ornamental value and coverage density. It possesses a dark green color, one of the most intense among varieties of this subspecies. The plant shows good adaptability to various mowing regimes, including both low mowing (10–12 mm) and higher mowing (25–35 mm).
The variety is resistant to diseases such as red thread, rust, leaf spot, Fusarium and snow mold. Biological features include early spring regrowth, drought tolerance and shade tolerance. It is used primarily as part of professional grass mixtures.
