The variety is specialized as a lawn grass. It is characterized by narrow leaves and the ability to form a dense stand, providing high indicators of aesthetic appeal and cover quality.

During state trials, the variety is evaluated for resistance to fungal diseases such as rust and red thread. Like other varieties of the species Festuca rubra, it is a perennial grass of the winter type of development, reaching full development in the second to third year of life.
