The plant has an upright, dense growth habit and stems up to 75 cm high. The leaves are characterized by a medium degree of softness and short or medium length. The variety forms a dense "carpet" cover of dark green color that grows slowly in height.

The variety has the ability for rapid regrowth in spring and after mowing, and also recovers quickly after trampling. It is distinguished by high drought tolerance, winter hardiness, and resistance to diseases. It is used primarily as part of seed mixtures for landscaping shaded and sunny areas.
