The variety is a type of hybrid with a predominance of the Festuca arundinacea genome. The plant combines the nutritional value and vigorous growth of Lolium with the resistance of Festuca to adverse environmental conditions.

The plant demonstrates high dry matter yield. The crop is used as a forage for establishing highly productive pastures, as well as for hay and haylage production. In scientific literature, the variety is often discussed in the context of cytogenetic studies of the genomic composition of hybrids.
