The variety is a tetraploid hybrid combining the genetic traits of Italian ryegrass and tall fescue. The plant is characterized by an early maturity period, the ability to root quickly, and intensive development in early spring.
The variety possesses moderate winter hardiness and high stress tolerance, including marked resistance to crown rust. Leafiness of the plants is 41–47 percent. Due to its moderate growth habit, the variety is suitable for creating grass mixtures with legumes.
The variety's production is valued for its high dry matter yield and good forage digestibility. The plant is used for hay and haylage harvesting, as well as for establishing pastures, as it tolerates grazing well.
