The plant is vigorous, forming bushes with an upright habit. The variety produces two harvests per season: the first wave matures in July, the second starting from July–August on current-year shoots. It is also known by the synonym "Negru Svinița" and originates from the Danube region.
Fruits from the first harvest have an average weight of about 24.3 g, those of the second harvest — 20.5 g. The fruit flesh is red, the soluble solids content is 19.55%, and acidity is 12 mg of citric acid per 100 g. At a planting density of 2222 plants per hectare, the yield reaches 18.70 t/ha.
