Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a traditional heritage cultivar known since the 16th century. The plant produces both breba and a main crop. The leaves of the variety have pronounced pubescence compared to most other varieties.

The golden fruits have a delicate honey flavor. Due to the presence of a large eye, the fruits are prone to spoilage in high humidity, so the variety is most effective for cultivation in dry climatic conditions. It is considered one of the most frost-resistant among Italian fig varieties.
