Variety description

The variety is uniferous and parthenocarpic. The tree is characterized by medium or high growth vigor and an upright habit. Leaves are medium-large, five-lobed, with a crenate margin and a yellowish-green petiole of medium length.
Fruits are small or medium, weighing about 40 g, ovoid, obovate, or pear-shaped. The skin is of medium thickness, light green or greenish-yellow with small white lenticels. The peduncle is short and thick, fruit detachment from the branch is difficult. The flesh has a bright dark red color.
The variety is late-maturing; ripening begins in October and can last until December. Fruits are prone to cracking during the ripening period. There is a possibility that the name Arnea Bianca covers a group of similar local forms of folk selection.
