The variety belongs to the bifera type, providing a breva harvest in the first week of July and a main fig harvest from the first ten days of August. The tree is of medium size with a dense crown and predominantly three-lobed leaves.
The fruits have a yellowish-green skin of medium thickness, which separates easily from the juicy and soft flesh of a pale honey color. The variety is characterized by good adaptability to cultivation on non-irrigated lands.
It originates from the Extremadura region, where it was historically used mainly for livestock feed. Currently, the variety is being preserved and studied within the framework of a program for the maintenance of the local gene pool.
