The tree of this variety is vigorous, with a spreading crown. Leaves are medium to large in size, five-lobed, with wavy-serrated margins. The petiole is medium-sized, pale green at the apex.
Fruits are pear-shaped and of medium to large weight, ranging from 65 to 100 g. The skin is of medium thickness, greenish-yellow or dark purple in color with visible light or pink lenticels. The fruit flesh is red.
The variety is mid-season, with ripening in Apulia occurring in mid-August. The fruiting type is ambiguously assessed as uniferous or biferous, while the variety possesses the ability for parthenocarpy. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption.
