Violetta
ActiveFicus carica L. · Common fig
Plattner Anton
10 August 2026
A tree of moderate vigor with a spreading crown and large, predominantly five-lobed leaves. The variety belongs to the "common" type and does not require pollination by Blastophaga wasps.
Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 50–90 g, with some reaching up to 200 g. They have a rounded, asymmetrical shape, flattened at the apex, with a firm yellow-green skin with red-violet stripes and dark red flesh.
The variety is a single-crop type, fruiting in September. The fruits are characterized by a very fast ripening rate, delicate texture, and poor transportability, which is why they are intended for consumption at the place of harvest.
