Ficus carica L. Common fig · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a slow-growing tree prone to fruit drop. It belongs to the San Pedro type, which means it forms a crop on last year's shoots without the need for pollination, although the main crop may depend on external conditions.

The fruits have a pear-shaped form with a short and low neck. Due to historical confusion in identification and a small number of reliable descriptions in French sources, the status of the variety is debated, and its authenticity is often called into question.
