The tree has medium vigour and a semi-upright crown with branches prone to bending. Leaves are predominantly 3-lobed with serrated margins. The variety is uniferous, producing one crop per season.

Fruits have a pear-shaped-oblong asymmetric form and an average weight of 40–56.9 g. The skin is purple or dark purple in colour, often with green stripes and cracking. The flesh is dark red and sweet. Fruit resistance to transportation is rated as medium.

It belongs to the Smyrna type, which determines the need for the involvement of the blastophaga wasp for the formation of edible fruits. The variety's purpose includes fresh consumption and drying.
