The "Albicello" variety is classified in pomological reference books as a synonym for the "Albo" variety. The plant is bifereous, produces two harvests per season, and does not require pollination by blastophaga wasps. The tree is medium-sized, with leaves predominantly 3-lobed with a cordate base.
First-crop fruits are nearly spherical, with a short thick neck, canary-yellow skin, and white flesh. Second-crop fruits are medium-sized, oblate-spherical, with yellow skin and sweet amber flesh with almost no seeds. The variety is considered susceptible to mosaic.
