The variety Kadota, also known as Dottato and Blanca Cabezuela, is late-ripening and self-fertile. The tree in open field reaches 4 meters in height, with growth limited to 2 meters in container cultivation. The variety produces two crops per season: the first in August, the main crop from late August to November.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 50–70 g, with an ovoid-pyriform shape and olive-green or greenish-yellow skin. Flesh color varies from light cream to pinkish-red. The fruits are characterized by their firmness, good transportability, and resistance to cracking during rain.
