The leaves of the variety are deeply dissected, dark green in summer and buttery yellow or golden in autumn. The plant has a shrub-like growth habit: it reaches 2–2.5 m in containers and 3–4 m in open field.
The fruits are small, about 2–4 cm in size, changing color from dark green to brown or purple upon ripening. The variety is self-fertile, the fruits ripen in summer and autumn and have a sweet taste.
The plant is relatively frost-resistant, withstanding temperature drops down to -15°C. The variety is presumed to be a hybrid of Ficus carica and Ficus afghanistanica.
