Variety description

10 August 2026

An early or mid-early ripening variety, classified as bifere, capable of producing a small early breba crop and a main crop. The plant is characterized by compact dimensions and flexible shoots, reaching a height of 2 to 4 meters, which makes it convenient for cultivation in small gardens or in containers.

The fruits have a pear-shaped or oval form, a dark purple, almost black skin with a waxy bloom, and a bright red juicy pulp with a jam-like consistency. The variety is self-fertile, resistant to fruit cracking in rainy weather, and possesses relative winter hardiness.

The intended use of the fruits is universal, including fresh consumption, drying, and processing. In literature, the variety has numerous synonyms, such as Negronne, Petite Negri, Vista, and Figue de Bordeaux.
