Fruits of the Verdesca variety are small in size and have a teardrop shape. A characteristic feature is the bright green color of the skin and bright red flesh. The texture of the flesh is dense and rich; the taste of the fruits is sweet.

The variety belongs to the Common type and does not require pollination by Blastophaga wasps. The fruits possess high resistance to cracking during rainy weather and high humidity. It is intended primarily for fresh consumption.
