The variety is bifere and capable of parthenocarpy. The tree is characterized by a high growth vigor and an open crown shape. Leaves are medium or large in size, five-lobed, with a crenate margin; petioles are yellowish-green, with a pinkish hue in the upper part.
Main crop fruits weigh 40–60 g, have a symmetrical pear-like shape, flattened at the apex. The skin is of medium thickness, blue or black-purple in color with white lenticels. The flesh is dark red, juicy, of medium density, with a small internal cavity. The taste is sweet with a slight sour aftertaste.
Ripening of the main crop occurs late: from the first ten days of September to the third ten days of October. The variety is traditionally used for fresh consumption, processing is possible, including drying.
