The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 2.5–3.5 meters, and has a wide crown with strong shoots. The variety is self-fertile and does not require pollination. It exhibits drought tolerance; cold hardiness is limited to -15 °C.

Pear-shaped fruits weighing 35–65 g have thin yellow-green skin and red or dark red flesh with a pronounced sweet taste. The variety is characterized as late-maturing with fruiting in late summer and autumn, although in some regions it is indicated as mid-maturing. The ostiole may be susceptible to cracking.
