The variety is of Italian origin and is intended for fresh consumption or processing. The plant is vigorous with an upright growth habit and is characterized as heat-tolerant.

Fruits ripen from the third week of August through the first ten days of October. The flavor is characterized as mild, moderately sweet, with honey or berry notes. In regions with high humidity or rainy climates, the fruits are susceptible to spoilage due to an open eye.

The variety is also known by the names White Naples and Brooklyn White.
