Variety description

The plant forms a compact, upright, and spreading bush with dark green evergreen leathery foliage. The leaves have a characteristic silvery coating and reddish petioles.

Large cup-shaped flowers are outward-facing. Buds are dark pink; blooming flowers are initially pinkish-white, eventually acquiring a rich pink-red or dark pink shade. The variety is sterile and does not produce seeds.

Flowering is early, starting in late winter and continuing until mid-spring. The plant has high growth vigor and prefers well-drained, humus-rich soils and partial shade sites. Resistant to animal damage.
