Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Heuchera villosa, forming a dense bush up to 23 cm in height and about 41 cm in width. The leaves are large, rounded, leathery, with glandular pubescence, and range in color from grayish-purple to nearly black with a light white bloom.

Flowering continues from late spring to autumn. Dark flower stalks bear racemose inflorescences of small bell-shaped pink flowers. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor, resistance to Verticillium wilt, and winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9.

Prefers partial shade and good drainage; when grown in the sun, it requires constant moisture. In industrial conditions, it is propagated by tissue culture; in garden conditions, by division of the bush.
