Variety description

The plant's foliage changes shade depending on the season: in spring, the leaves are bright red; in summer, they darken to brick-red or reddish-purple with grayish speckles, and by autumn, they acquire dark burgundy or almost black tones. The height of the leaf rosette is 17–23 cm, total height with flower stalks reaches 35–45 cm.
Flowering occurs from late spring to mid-summer with small cream-white bell-shaped flowers on slender flower stalks. The plant has good vigor, is resistant to certain pests and salts, and tolerates both full sun and partial shade. The variety is evergreen with hardiness zones 4a–8a.
In landscape design, it is used for creating borders, mass plantings, container plantings, in rock gardens, and as a groundcover plant.
