The plant forms a sturdy, upright bush with spreading branching shoots, reaching a height and width of 60 to 90 cm. The foliage is dense, dark green; vegetation begins late, but with rapid mass accumulation.
Flowers are solitary, large. Petal color varies from silvery-lavender to a pale lilac shade with contrasting pink veins and a dark eye in the center. The variety is characterized by abundant flowering from mid- to late summer.
The plant has winter hardiness in the range of USDA zones 5a–9b and is adapted to moist soils. It is used in landscape design for borders, flower beds, and rain gardens.
