Variety description

The plant forms a dense bush with upright stems and dark purple-bronze foliage with deeply incised lobed margins. The large, deep red flowers reach 15–18 cm in diameter.
The height of the mature plant varies from 0.8 to 1.5 m depending on growing conditions. Flowering occurs from mid-summer to early autumn. The variety is hardy and possesses winter hardiness down to -15°C.
The plant is moisture-loving and prefers sunny locations protected from strong wind. It is used in single and group plantings, for creating flower beds, and for cultivation in containers.
