The variety is a spring two-row barley. The plants are distinguished by a short stem and good lodging resistance; the grain is of medium-large size.

The variety is resistant to powdery mildew on leaves and brown rust. Resistance to powdery mildew in the ear, leaf blotch, and Septoria is assessed as medium. Susceptibility to stem rust and variability in resistance to stripe rust are observed.
