The variety is two-row, forming cylindrical ears of medium density and length. The plants are tall, reaching a height of about 90 cm. The grain is hulled, with distinct anthocyanin coloration of the lemma.
Under intensive cultivation, the variety requires the mandatory use of growth regulators to prevent lodging. The level of disease resistance varies; in some cases, sensitivity to powdery mildew, rust, and leaf blotch is noted.
The thousand kernel weight averages about 56.5 g. The variety demonstrates a yield potential of up to 6–6.5 t/ha when cultivation technologies are followed.
