The Pegasos variety is a winter six-row barley. Its genetic origin is represented by the combination (Ramata × ST2426) × ST2427.

In scientific publications, the variety is considered as an object of breeding research and testing of agrotechnologies, including the study of the influence of seeding rates. The ability of the variety to show resistance to leaf septoria has been established.
