The Prospect variety was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties KWS Irina and Overture. The plant has an average stem height and is distinguished by high straw strength, which ensures a low susceptibility to lodging.

The grain has high test weight indices and is used in the brewing industry and malting production. The variety can also be used as a fodder crop and a cover crop when undersowing grasses.
