The Arnold F1 rootstock was created with the involvement of wild tomato species, in particular Solanum habrochaites. It possesses a vigorous root system, superior to standard varieties, and promotes balanced development of the scion by stimulating the formation of generative organs. The plant adapts well to various soil types and is suitable for cultivation in protected and open field conditions, as well as in artificial lighting conditions.
The use of this rootstock provides scion varieties with resistance to a complex of soil-borne pathogens, including Fusarium, Verticillium, and nematodes. In professional vegetable production, the variety is valued for maintaining the plant's growth balance throughout the entire production cycle. The market also features a determinate hybrid of the same name from Innova Seeds, which is intended for fruit harvest.
