Variety description

Deciduous shrub 1.2–1.5 m in height. Leaves are ovate, up to 20 cm long, bright green, with a grayish or glaucous tint on the underside due to pubescence.

Inflorescences are spherical or hemispherical, consisting of sterile flowers ranging in color from greenish-white to pure white. Flowering is abundant and prolonged, from July to September, occurring on current-year shoots.

Shoots are thin and insufficiently elastic, so they may bend under the weight of large inflorescences. The variety has good winter hardiness and requires annual pruning in late winter or early spring to stimulate the growth of strong shoots.
