The variety is a deciduous shrub 0.9–1.5 m in height with a moderate growth rate. The plant features bright green glossy foliage and forms large spherical inflorescences. Flower color depends on soil composition: on alkaline substrates they are white or pink, on acidic ones — blue or purple.

Flowering occurs in mid-summer on the previous year's shoots; therefore, spring pruning is not recommended to avoid removing flower buds. The variety is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 5–9. The plant is sensitive to late spring frosts and is susceptible to powdery mildew if air circulation is poor.
