Variety description

Compact fast-growing shrub reaches a height and width of 1.0 to 1.5 meters. The leaves have a dark-green color, a glossy surface and a serrated edge; in autumn, they may acquire a reddish tint.

Mophead-type spherical inflorescences have a diameter of 15 to 25 cm. The flowering period begins in June or July and lasts until September, with inflorescences forming on both apical and lateral shoots.

The plant requires moist soil and a site protected from the midday sun, and it does not tolerate waterlogging. The shrub is suitable for single and group plantings, cultivation in containers, and is also suitable for cutting.
