The variety belongs to dwarf hydrangeas and is often referred to as part of the Saxon series. The plant forms compact inflorescences, and the flowering period lasts from July to September.

The shrub is suitable for garden landscaping and container cultivation. The variety is characterized as winter hardy, however, it requires covering in conditions of frosty winters to preserve flower buds. The intensity of flower coloration depends on the soil acidity level.
