The shrub has a rounded shape and reaches a height and width of 0.9–1.5 m. The leaves are dark green, broadly ovate, with a serrated edge, waxy surface, and pronounced venation.

The flowers are collected in dense large inflorescences, consisting of sepals with serrated edges. The flowering period lasts from summer to autumn. The plant is adapted to USDA hardiness zones 6a–9b (in some sources 5).

The variety is intended for landscape design, border decoration, group plantings, and container cultivation, and is also suitable for cut flowers.
