Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub ranging from 0.6 to 1.5 meters in height. The foliage is dark green, with characteristic red veins and petioles; the current year's shoots have a reddish hue. In the autumn period, the foliage changes color to bronze-red or burgundy.
Inflorescences are flat, lacecap-type, consisting of fertile flowers in the center and sterile flowers at the edges. The color of the flowers varies from pinkish-white to pink-burgundy or purple, while soil acidity can give the inflorescences bluish shades. Flower buds are set on the previous year's shoots.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and winter hardiness in USDA zones 5–9. It is used in single and group plantings, borders, containers, and is also suitable for cutting.
