The Lady Mizuki variety is part of a group of six cultivars in the Lady series. The plant is an ornamental flowering shrub that blooms on previous year's shoots.

Representatives of the Lady series are characterized by shrub sizes reaching 90–120 cm in height and 75–100 cm in width, as well as the presence of a characteristic white margin on the inflorescence petals.
