Variety description

The variety forms spherical inflorescences of a deep red shade, which may vary to lilac or mauve depending on soil acidity and the presence of aluminum. The mature shrub grows to 1.20–1.40 m and possesses bright green foliage.

Flowering of the plant continues from July to September; under favorable conditions, a second wave is possible. The variety withstands temperature drops down to –18 °C. It is suitable for cultivation in containers and for creating accent groups in landscape design; it requires protection from strong winds and placement in partial shade.
