Variety description

The plant is an upright, densely foliated shrub with a height of 0.8 to 1.5 m. The Mophead-type inflorescences reach 15–20 cm in diameter. The flower color varies from raspberry-red to wine-red and violet-purple.

Large, broadly oval leaves have a serrated margin. Their color changes throughout the season: in spring they are bronze-green, in summer they are dark green with a purple or brown tint, and in autumn they acquire red-bronze tones.

The flowering period lasts from July to September–October. The crop requires winter cover at sub-zero temperatures and is sensitive to soil moisture levels. It is used in landscape design as a solitary plant, for hedges, or for container cultivation.
