Variety description

The plant is a deciduous shrub with a height of 0.8 to 1.2 meters and a width of about 1 meter. The bush is characterized by its compact shape, which allows it to be used for cultivation in containers, planters, on terraces, and in small gardens.

The inflorescences are rounded in shape. The color of the flowers depends on the acidity of the soil: on alkaline soils they acquire a bright red hue, and on acidic soils — a soft purple or lilac one. The plant has dense glossy foliage and, like most representatives of the species, is sensitive to severe frosts.
