Variety description

The shrub has a compact dense form, reaching a height from 40 to 80 cm, sometimes up to 100–150 cm. The leaves are ovate, serrated, bright or light green in color.

Inflorescences are spherical, 8–15 cm in diameter, consisting of sterile star-shaped flowers with four petals. The original flower color is pink, but can change to violet or blue upon changing soil acidity.

Flowering is prolonged, from late June to September; flowers are formed on the previous year's shoots. The variety's winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6a; the plant is sensitive to low temperatures and excess moisture.
